Biographie. Née à Hong Kong en 1959, Candice Yu On On fait sa première apparition au cinéma dans un drame de John Law Ma, Impetuous Fire, réalisé en 1972, puis récidive trois ans plus tard dans l’obscure Let's Rock. En 1976, elle rejoint la Shaw Brothers où elle y croise son futur époux, le totalement inconnu Chow Yun fat.
