Benjamin Gibbard, född 11 augusti 1976 [ 2][ 3] i Bremerton, Washington, [ 3] är en amerikansk sångare, gitarrist och låtskrivare, känd som frontman i indierockgruppen Death Cab for Cutie, [ 4] men även för sidoprojekten The Postal Service [ 5] och ¡All-Time Quarterback!. [ 6] Han har tidigare också spelat i bandet Pinwheel.
Ben Gibbard unterstützt die Organisationen Planned Parenthood und People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) sowie die von Neil Young gegründete Bridge School. Berichten stoppte er 2008 seinen Alkoholkonsum und begann fortan Marathons zu laufen. Er lief 2013 seinen ersten Trail-Ultramarathon und hat seitdem jedes Jahr mehrere absolviert.
