The President of the LSD Golf Club is the sixth studio album by the Belgian band Hooverphonic. The title was originally intended for The Magnificent Tree, but was not allowed by Sony, Hooverphonic's label at the time. The album has quite a different feel from previous Hooverphonic albums. This is a fantastic collection where Hooverphonic unleashes some pent up weirdness and haunting melodies, 'Stranger' and 'Gentle Storm' are brilliant songs and as good as anything in their catalog.
