I don't get why this isn't a more popular album, it totally be rocks from start to finish, which is what I hope to do whenever I put on a deep purple album. There is not a single snoozer on here. Maybe the tour didn't do so well dut to Ritchie Blackmore quiting, but this record doesn't show it. Put this on and crank it up !!!!

24 de feb. de 2021 · Sobre «The Battle Rages On» Según Wikipedia , «The Battle Rages On … es el decimocuarto álbum de estudio de la banda británica de hard rock, Deep Purple, lanzado el 2 de julio de 1993. Es el último álbum grabado con la formación clásica de Mk II de la banda, que se reunió por segunda vez ( la primera reunión fue para Perfect Strangers de 1984).

But as I said before, this is not classic Deep Purple style, it actually does sound at times as Aerosmith but with keyboards and a better singer. Although there are some few interesting tunes like the acoustic guitar intro to 'Anya', that's quite a shocker coming from Ritchie, The Battle Rages On is not a good Deep Purple album.

Toujours est-il que pour l'enregistrement de cet album (paru en Juillet '93), le chanteur a (pour la 3ème fois) réintégré Deep Purple.
