This album is the highest charting Ramones album of all time, reaching #44 on the US Billboard 200 chart, #14 on the UK Albums Chart and #10 on the Swedish Albums Chart.
The result was 1980’s End of the Century, one of the Ramones’ most muddled efforts. Only “This Ain’t Havana” and the militaristic “Let’s Go” would have fit on earlier albums—and they wouldn’t even have been standout tracks.

15 de mar. de 2005 · Well, I almost wore the record out and I bought several other Ramones recordings. They were indeed excellent in a field that included many new and wonderful acts. At the time, I was not aware that the Ramones were at the base of the whole Punk Rock thing. That's very interesting and is well documented on "The End of the Century" DVD.
