Traveling Wilburys var en supergruppe skabt af George Harrison (ex-Beatle) og Jeff Lynne (frontfigur i The Move, Idle Race og ELO). I begyndelsen var det en uformel gruppe bestående af Roy Orbison og Tom Petty, da de mødtes i Bob Dylans studie i Santa Monica, Californien, for at indspille et nummer til B-siden på Harrisons single "This is Love".

Traveling Wilburys byla britsko-americká superskupina, kterou tvořili hudebníci Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison a Tom Petty. Vznikla a první album Traveling Wilburys Volume One nahrála v roce 1988, druhé a zároveň poslední album Traveling Wilburys Volume Three nahrála (již bez Roye Orbisona) v roce 1990.
