The College prides itself on implementing innovative multi-sensory teaching methods in the classroom wherever possible. This is achieved by incorporating various forms of modern technology, recruiting passionate staff with a natural ability to inspire young people, and challenging our teachers to use various learning methods to suit every pupil.
We are pleased to offer a range of camps at Shiplake College each summer. Bookings for the rowing camps 2024 are now open and details of the other summer camps will be available soon. Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 11 to 18. Situated in 45 acres of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside near Henley-on-Thames, we offer an outstanding education based on small class sizes, excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff.
Shiplake College is a selective school but we do not select on academic ability alone. In each intake we admit pupils across a range of abilities. We look for pupils who will make the most of the opportunities and challenges that will lie ahead of them at the College and who will, in turn, contribute to and enrich the Shiplake community.
