  1. 17 de nov. de 2017 · The Wizard channel more 70s horror movie inflected doom and gloom here. Nothing groundbreaking, but if you've dug the last few, you'll love it. This one feels almost short at 42 minutes and has a much more focused sound than its predecessor.

Doch immer langsam mit vorschnellen Urteilen: Das neunte Studioalbum der englischen Doom-Urgesteine Electric Wizard sieht zwar grauenerregend aus, bietet glücklicherweise aber akustisch allen Grund zur Entwarnung. Wobei so manch alter Fan der Band seine liebe Mühe mit dem Werk haben dürfte. Denn "Wizard bloody wizard" ist ekelhaft geworden.

It wasn’t a bad album, but the drama behind the scenes made the already phoned in music even more of a bitter pill to swallow for some. The band itself seems to have acknowledged this fumble in a way, referring to the album as a funeral for their old style and prophesizing a new direction with a more stable lineup.
