William “Bill” Lee Monroe was born on November 9, 1941, in Tiawah, Oklahoma, to Melvin George and Gracie Leona (Smithey) Monroe. He departed this life on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family and wife. He had attained the age of 81 years and 25 days. Bill grew up and attended school in Collinsville, Oklahoma.
