Repertoire listed in any current Trinity grade, certificate or lower diploma cannot be selected as own-choice repertoire. Supporting both formats of exam are Theory of Music Workbooks presenting the study of musical theory in bright and practical formats, attractive to both the student and the teacher. Not only will it help you to progress more quickly on your instrument, studying for our Theory exams will help you to gain a broad understanding of classical music.

Trinity supports the learning of music and drama with offering of both digital and face-to face assessments, as well as in-person theory exams. These exams were conducted, even during the Covid years. We have over 20 public access venues throughout the country, alongside nearly 100 private centres for music, drama and language.
