Betsi Miller's family left Idaho for Germany when she was 12. Had they remained in America a photographer friend of Suzanne Freytag's would not have seen her gigging at a nightclub and passed her phone number on to the band. "I was working at this place in Munich when I got a phone call from Suzanne Freytag", she recalls.

Antes de incorporarse a Propaganda, cantaba en una banda alemana llamada Shampoo y además trabajaba como camarera. Un día se contactó con Suzanne Freytag y Michael Mertens para una audición, luego de que Claudia Brücken dejara la banda.

En 1990 le nouveau line-up de PROPAGANDA comporte BETSI MILLER (chant), DEREK FORBES (basse, né le 22/06/1956 à Glasgow, ex-SIMPLE MINDS de 1979 à 1985) et BRIAN McGEE (batterie, né le 29/05/1960 à Gorbals dans Glasgow, ex-ENDGAMES et ex-SIMPLE MINDS). Seul MICHAEL MERTENS reste de la formation originale. Séparation de PROPAGANDA en 1990.
