ERIC CLAPTON – Another Ticket. Most sensible session musicians would have walked out on Eric Clapton after his hateful, racist outburst in Birmingham on August 5 th 1976. However, his regular band of musicians from Tulsa stuck by him throughout the following two years as he battled with the bottle.

Eric Patrick Clapton, CBE (born 30 March 1945), is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is the only three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: once as a solo artist and separately as a member of The Yardbirds and of Cream.Clapton has been referred to as one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time.
"Another Ticket" is the first studio album by Clapton's new band of all-British musicians which he had assembled in the late summer of 1979. This particular project reminds of the "Blind Faith" album in that the circumstances surrounding its release were less than perfect but the music remains strong and vibrant to the present day.
