14 de mar. de 2023 · Email. Dix Denney, guitarist and co-founder of pioneering LA punk band The Weirdos, has died. Along with his brother John, Dix Denney formed The Weirdos in Los Angeles in 1975. Although initially inspired by The Ramones, they soon became trailblazers of West Coast punk which in a way was faster, louder and edgier than its East coast counterpart.
