Pete Haycock war für viele Jahre als Leadgitarrist der Frontmann der Climax Blues Band aus Großbritannien. Später jedoch schlug Haycock dann Solo-Pfade ein, die z. B. die Alben "Guitar & Son" und "Biker's Dozen" hervorbrachten.

11 de feb. de 2007 · As a guitarist myself, Pete Haycock was, for me, one of the truly underrated British guitarists of the 70's-80's. Overshadowed by deserving but more successful guitar heroes of the period (Hendrix, Page, Beck, Clapton, etc.), Haycock seemed to stay below the radar.

Haycock met de Climax Blues Band in 1974. Peter John Haycock ( Stafford, 4 maart 1951 – Frankfurt am Main, 30 oktober 2013) was een Brits gitarist en componist. Hij begon zijn carrière als oprichter, leadgitarist en vocalist van de Climax Blues Band .
20 de ene. de 2007 · Pete Haycock and Steve Hunter are both fantastic blues rock guitarists, the former with Climax Blues Band and a great solo outing, Guitar and Son, and the latter as a sideman on many classic albums by Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, and others, as well as a couple of solid solo efforts. I couldn't wait to hear them play together.
