My baby just started sleeping through the night but he still wakes up sometimes and won’t go back to sleep until I give him the pacifier. I guess when I was dropping his night feeds, I would give him the pacifier instead of milk and now he wants it to soothe him throughout the night.

LO is 5 months next week, has only just started liking pacifiers. I tend to use them after feeding to help with her reflux. I found a few weeks ago that she goes down much easier for naps when she has a pacifier, so I now give her one before bouncing her to sleep (have not sleep trained and she doesn’t go down awake).
