In his later career, however, he became a familiar fixture of the screen, albeit mostly in supporting roles. He won an Academy Award for his portrayal of a quintessential English butler in the 1981 film "Arthur", alongside Dudley Moore (a role not unlike his star turn in "Orient Express".
