When the first movie in the franchise was released, it was met with positive reviews for its suspenseful storyline, so the sequel followed it, with one movie more currently in development.

In realtà l'ingegno delle stravaganti morti deriva dall'ideatore delle trappole di Saw 4 e seguenti che di fantasia ne hanno parecchia.
