The Weinstein Company, LLC. The Weinstein Company, LLC (usually credited or abbreviated as TWC) was an American independent film studio, founded in New York City by Bob and Harvey Weinstein on March 10, 2005. TWC was one of the largest mini-major film studios in North America as well as in the United States.
Background: Bob and Harvey Weinstein founded this independent production and distribution studio in 2005 after leaving the Disney-acquired Miramax Films that same year. Logo (February 15, 2013-July 19, 2016) Visuals: On a black background, a white sphere zooms in slowly in the center, releasing a series of multicolored sparkles that light up the white word "KALEIDOSCOPE" in front of it.
The resulting text reads " TWC-DIMENSION ". Afterwards, the lights disappear one at a time with the company name fading last. Variant: A short variant exists.
