Setiap film thriller tentu memiliki penjahat, tapi, menurut saya, "The Human Centipede" telah berhasil melahirkan penjahat dengan tipe kejahatan baru. Film setipe ini tentu memiliki pembunuh atau penjagal yang sinting, tidak peduli terhadap nyawa manusia yang ia permainkan kehidupannya, tapi dr. Heiter ini cukup berbeda.
A few days later, two local detectives, Kranz (Andreas Leupold) and Voller (Peter Blankenstein), arrive at the doctor's house to investigate the disappearance of tourists, Heiter decides to add them to his centipede as replacements for Jenny. Heiter fails in an attempt to drug the detectives, and they leave the house to obtain a search warrant.

I don't know WHAT I was expecting but this wasn't it. Perhaps I'm just desensitised to violence but I was hoping for more gore. But I was very impressed by the human element, particularly by the lead centipede actor. The girls were good also, conveying a lot of emotion without actually being able to speak.
16. 4. Critique négative la plus appréciée. Critique de The Human Centipede par Miloon. C'est un méchant coup de pas de bol... Mais vraiment très méchant. Imagine une cambrousse allemande. Il n'y a que des arbres à perte de vue. Aucune trace de vie humaine.
