Der Wirkstoff Prasugrel gehört zur Wirkstoffgruppe der Thrombozytenaggregationshemmer und wird bei akutem Koronarsyndrom (Angina pectoris oder Herzinfarkt) mit primärer oder verzögerter perkutaner Koronarintervention (PCI) angewendet, um die Blutgerinnung herabzusetzen.Dabei wird der Wirkstoff mit niedrig dosierter Acetylsalicylsäure (ASS) kombiniert.
