Keanu Charles Reeves (Beirute, 2 de setembro de 1964) é um ator naturalizado canadense. [nota 1] Nascido em Beirute e criado em Toronto, Reeves começou a atuar em produções teatrais e em filmes de televisão antes de fazer sua estreia no cinema em Youngblood (1986).

Reeves' voornaam betekent "koele wind over de bergen" in het Hawaïaans.Zijn vader is afkomstig uit Hawaï en zijn moeder is Brits; ze ontmoetten elkaar in een periode dat ze allebei in Libanon werkten. Na de scheiding van zijn ouders in 1966 emigreerde zijn moeder met de kinderen naar Toronto.
