Stiv Bators, pseudonimo di Steven John Bator (Youngstown, 22 ottobre 1949 – Parigi, 4 giugno 1990), è stato un cantante e chitarrista statunitense, meglio noto per essere stato il leader dei The Dead Boys e The Lords of the New Church.. Night of the Living Dead Boys is a 1981 live album by the American punk rock band Dead Boys.It was recorded in March 1979 at CBGB.Since Stiv Bators purposely did not sing into the microphone at this show, the vocals were overdubbed later, causing mixed opinions on this album.. The Lords of the New Church were formed in 1981 by singer Stiv Bators and guitarist Brian James, who had been founding members of Cleveland's Dead Boys and London's the Damned, respectively.The two experimented for a time with different rhythm sections, before bassist Dave Tregunna (ex-Sham 69) and drummer Nicky Turner (ex-the Barracudas) joined the fold.
