It’s probably the only thing that’s stayed in my head throughout the decades since I last watched Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Perhaps it’s because of the perfect 50’s campy horror title, but my vague remembrance was that this 1978 remake was rather cheesy, low budget, and somewhat wooden. I couldn't have been more wrong.
