The Piper at the Gates of Dawn est le premier album studio du groupe de rock progressif britannique Pink Floyd.Il est sorti le 5 août 1967 sur le label Columbia Records et a été produit par Norman Smith. Le titre de l'album (en français Le joueur de pipeau aux portes de l'aube) est une référence au chapitre 7 du livre Le Vent dans les saules de Kenneth Grahame.

Bike is an interesting way of wrapping up the album. Piper At The Gates Of Dawn offers diversity – some tracks are wild and manic while others are slow and fun.
Rat, who was in the stern of the boat, while Mole sculled, sat up suddenly and listened with a passionate intentness. Mole, who with gentle strokes was just keeping the boat moving while he scanned the banks with care, looked at him with curiosity. 'It's gone!' sighed the Rat, sinking back in his seat again.
