16 de ago. de 2015 · Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports is the debut solo album by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, released in May 1981 in the UK and the US. It was Mason's first major work outside of Pink Floyd. It is sung by Robert Wyatt (formerly of Soft Machine), except for the opening song. All the songs were written by Carla Bley.
Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports je první sólové album britského bubeníka Nicka Masona, známého svým působením v art rockové skupině Pink Floyd.Album bylo vydáno v květnu 1981 (viz 1981 v hudbě).. De facto se nejedná o album Nicka Masona. Mason na desce bubnuje a také ji koprodukoval, skladby jsou ale autorským dílem jazzové hudebnice Carly Bleyové.

Nick Mason’s Fictitious Sports ist ein Musikalbum des Pink-Floyd-Schlagzeugers Nick Mason.Es wurde im Mai 1981 veröffentlicht und war das erste Soloprojekt von ihm. Er wagte einen „Jazzrock-Trip“ ausschließlich mit Songmaterial der Jazz- und Avantgarde-Musikerin Carla Bley, die das Album auch co-produzierte.
