LOVE SONGS was my introduction to the Beatles...my mother used to play the hell out of the old Capitol cassette. Forty years later I still remember some of the song sequencing. It's a nice enough themed collection, very heavy on the ballads and softer side of the band, which makes it a logical companion to the ROCK & ROLL MUSIC double LP released a year prior.
