Richard III est la dernière pièce de la première tétralogie de William Shakespeare, un auteur anglais, écrite au début de sa carrière et datée aux alentours de 1591-1592. La pièce, publiée en 1597, raconte l’ascension et la chute brutale de Richard III, un tyran qui est finalement battu par le futur Henri VII lors de la bataille de Bosworth.
