25 de feb. de 2023 · Twice-Told Tales is a series of short story collections by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The first volume was published in 1837. A second volume was published in 1842. In 1851, a 2-volume collection was published. The stories had all been previously published in magazines and annuals, hence the name.
Hawthorne’s Twice-Told Tales Edgar Allan Poe. WE HAVE always regarded the Tale (using this word in its popular acceptation) as affording the best prose opportunity for display of the highest talent. It has peculiar advantages which the novel does not admit. It is, of course, a far finer field than the essay.
