General Christopher G. Cavoli assumed duties as Commander, U.S. European Command, July 1, 2022, and Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), July 4, 2022. Commissioned into the Infantry in 1987, Gen. Cavoli has served in a wide variety of positions throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
General Christopher G. Cavoli übernahm nach Angaben der US-Armee im Oktober 2020 das Kommando über die konsolidierte U.S. Army Europe and Africa, eine der sechs USEUCOM-Komponenten. Ihm unterstehen rund 60.000 US-Soldaten. Von Januar 2018 bis zur Konsolidierung diente er als Kommandeur der U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR).
