Ban Ki-moon, Hanja: 潘 基 文; (Eumseong, 13 de junho de 1944) é um diplomata e político sul-coreano. Foi o oitavo secretário-geral da Organização das Nações Unidas , de 2007 até 2017 . [ 1 ] [ 2 ] Antes de se tornar secretário-geral, Ban era um diplomata de carreira no Ministério de Relações Exteriores e Comércio da Coreia do Sul e na ONU.
