Trey Azagthoth (George Emmanuel III) (Bellingham, Washington, 1965. március 26. –) amerikai gitáros, zeneszerző, aki a Morbid Angel alapítójaként, fő dalszerzőjeként és gitárosaként ismert. A death metal műfaj egyik legsikeresebb és legnagyobb hatású együtteseként számon tartott Morbid Angelt 1983-ban hozta létre, debütáló nagylemezük pedig 1989-ben jelent meg.

There are only a few interviews with Azagthoth online, and many of those predate 2003, the year the Morbid Angel album Heretic was released, so it’s fair to say that gaining an insight into the man presents a challenge.

In fact, he's the only musician who's been in Morbid Angel since the band's humble beginnings in Tampa back in 1983.
