About Evie Sands As a vocalist, songwriter, producer, and nimble instrumentalist, Evie Sands' musical timeline has been consistently evolving since she started out in the early '60s. During the girl group era, Sands recorded several singles which showcased her yearning blue-eyed soul vocal style and throughout the '70s, transitioned into the roles of both singer/songwriter and producer.
