Akanishi Jin is a Japanese singer and songwriter, actor, voice actor, and television personality. Akanishi used to be a member of the popular J-pop group KAT-TUN until July of 2010 and was one of the two lead vocalists. Since the group's debut in 2006, it has achieved 14 consecutive number ones (including studio albums) on the Oricon charts.

Jin Akanishi is a Japanese musician, singer, songwriter and actor. He has been active since 1998 as one of the two lead vocalists of the J-pop boy-band KAT-TUN before starting a solo career in 2009. Akanishi has also acted in several films and dramas.
Jin was supposed to embark on a brand new tour titled “THANK YOU” next month in April.Due to Jin’s diagnosis it isn’t advised that he perform full concerts, instead fans will be able to watch a documentary titled “JIN AKANISHI 5th Anniversary Our Years Film“. Fans can choose for a refund, but those who attend will receive a 4,000 yen voucher which can be used to buy merchandise.
