HOMESHAKE is the solo project of Peter Sagar, who pairs falsetto vocals with synth-heavy pop arrangements that show the influence of smooth ’80s-era R&B. • Sagar began making music as HOMESHAKE in 2012. He released a pair of cassettes in 2013 while playing guitar and keyboards in Mac DeMarco’s live band.

Working with producer Jackson MacIntosh, the project’s guitar-forward sound was replaced with soft pads and chiming electronic beats, unfurling at a narcoleptic pace.
