One Direction var ett brittiskt-irländskt pojkband som bestod av Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson och tidigare (2010-2015) Zayn Malik. Gruppen bildades den 23 juli 2010 som en grupp med fem medlemmar, med Zayn Malik (som lämnade bandet 2015) inför den sjunde säsongen (augusti-december 2010) av den brittiska TV-serien The X Factor , dit medlemmarna alla hade sökt enskilt.
