This change set the Rossington Collins band apart as they entered the 1980s. The Rossington-Collins Band debuted in June 1980 with the Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere album. Kicked by such songs as 'Getaway" and 'Don't Misunderstand Me' the album sold more than a million copies and the band toured to enthusiastic, sellout crowds.
