Stratovarius est un groupe de power metal finlandais originaire d'Helsinki. Formé en 1984 , le groupe joue une musique caractérisée par un croisement entre le speed mélodique d' Helloween et le metal néoclassique d' Yngwie Malmsteen , avec une touche hard FM dans une moindre mesure.

그리고 Stratovarius 셀프타이틀 이후에 새로운 베이스로 가입한 멤버인 로리 포라가 작곡한 곡도 있다. 곡 분위기는 이들의 전성기 때 앨범, 특히 Episode 앨범에 근접하려고 했지만 톨키가 빠진 것 때문에 완전히 이전 느낌이 나진 않았다.
