Vaughn, for some baffling reason, portrays a mentally abusive creep who, to the rational, semi-experienced boyfriend, comes off as utterly tone deaf. He goes from zero to out of his damn mind in no time flat.
"The Break-Up" hints that the broken-up couple will get back together again, but that doesn't make us eager for a sequel.
