概要. 原案は『ニューヨーク・タイムズ』のサム・ドルニックの記事「The Sinaloa Cartel's 90-Year-Old Drug Mule」であり 、脚本はニック・シェンクが執筆した 。 80歳代でシナロア・カルテルの麻薬の運び屋となった第二次世界大戦の退役軍人であるレオ・シャープの実話に基づいている 。
