It is a shame that "Eyes of Fire" is so disjointed, any semblance of a story is totally lost. In addition, character development is poor, the acting amateurish, and the editing outrageously choppy. This film has one, and only one thing going for it, and that is some ultra weird imagery.

Joined by rugged woodsman Marion Dalton, who wants to protect his daughter, the group ventures into a valley, where dwells an ancient evil spirit. As members of the group start to disappear, the witch-bred, insane Leah must discover how to thwart the spirit.
The horror of nature is burned into the narrative of Eyes of Fire - it's the epitome of folk horror, as we follow an ignorant bunch of people that fail to heed the warning of the native Indians and try to set up house in the land of the spirits. The film is a real slow burn as we follow the pilgrims on their unwitting descent into hell.
