After a strenuous six-month transition period, Delaware County has finally taken back complete control of the George W. Hill Correctional Facility — previously Pennsylvania’s only privately managed county prison — on Wednesday from for-profit operator, GEO Group.
The George W. Hill Correctional Facility will ensure that all allegations of sexual abuse or harassment will be referred for investigation by the Delaware County District Attorney's Office.
