25 de feb. de 2023 · Miklós Rózsa was a Hungarian-American composer and conductor, known for his film scores and concert music. He received 17 Academy Award nominations and won three Oscars. Rózsa was introduced to classical and folk music by his parents and was trained in Germany, France, and the UK before moving to the US in 1940. He became a US citizen in 1946.

He studied violin in childhood with Lajos Berkovits. After training at the Leipzig Cons. with Straube and Grabner, he went to Paris in 1931 and established himself as a composer.

Rózsa was a child prodigy and studied the violin from the age of five and went to Leipzig to study music at the Leipzig Conservatory with Hermann Grabner in 1926.
