Gordon Banks (30 December 1937 – 12 February 2019) was an English footballer. He has played for England national team. He is regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time. [1] Banks played in every game of England's 1966 FIFA World Cup victory. Injury

Gordon Banks (født 30. desember 1937 i Sheffield, død 12. februar 2019 i Stoke-on-Trent [4]) var en britisk målvakt i fotball. Han spilte en sentral rolle på Englands vinnerlag i VM i fotball i 1966. Banks' ferdigheter ga ham klengenavnet «Banks Of England» (et ordspill på «Bank of England»).
