A French actress who made 23 films with her husband Claude Chabrol, Audran received a BAFTA nomination for her role in Chabrol’s Le Boucher (1970) and won for Just Before Nightfall in conjunction with Luis Bunuel’s The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972).
