Tristan Sturrock was raised in Cornwall. He has been a leading performer with Kneehigh for over 25 years and has performed all over the world. He is best known for 'Brief Encounter' (Broadway, West End), 'Tristan and Yseult' and 'A Matter of Life and Death' (National Theatre) On Television his work most notably includes Jamaica Inn (2014), Best Of Men, The Queen (2009) and Doc Martin (2004).
Actor Tristan Sturrock was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Sturrock began his career with a role on "Bad Girls (BBCA)" (1998-2005). Later, Sturrock acted in the dramatic comedy "Saving Grace" (2000) with Brenda Blethyn and "The Borgias" (Showtime, 2010-13). More recently, Sturrock acted on "Poldark" (PBS, 2015-).
