Mack Sennett (born Michael Sinnott; January 17, 1880 – November 5, 1960) was a Canadian-American actor, director, and comedian. He was known as the "King of Comedy". He helped create the first slapstick silent comedy movies. Sennett died on November 5, 1960, in Woodland Hills, California, aged 80.
