I love how Sneaker Pimps took a much darker approach as I think this is where the atmospheric elements of Trip Hop really get to shine off in the best ways.

Aunque mantiene la esencia trip hop del sonido de Sneaker Pimps, en Splinter resaltan más las guitarras acústicas.

The transition from Dayton to Chris Corner seemed to have compromised the bands style and for most fans, this was unforgivable. However, I listened to "Splinter" before "Becoming X" and had less of that bias.
