9 de jul. de 2018 · Splinter is the sophomore album from the criminally under appreciated Sneaker Pimps and it takes a lot darker turn than I expected after their light hearted yet mysterious debut, Becoming X. I love how Sneaker Pimps took a much darker approach as I think this is where the atmospheric elements of Trip Hop really get to shine off in the best ways.

Splinter es el segundo álbum de la banda inglesa Sneaker Pimps.A partir de este trabajo Chris Corner asume el papel de vocalista, lo que junto a las letras más oscuras comprende un cambio considerable respecto a su anterior trabajo, Becoming X. Aunque mantiene la esencia trip hop del sonido de Sneaker Pimps, en Splinter resaltan más las guitarras acústicas.
21 de oct. de 2006 · After the departure of Kelli Dayton, most Sneaker Pimps fans were hesitant on giving "Splinter" a go. The transition from Dayton to Chris Corner seemed to have compromised the bands style and for most fans, this was unforgivable. However, I listened to "Splinter" before "Becoming X" and had less of that bias.
