The Stalk-Forrest Group did manage to record an entire unreleased album for Elektra in 1970, in a much lighter and more psychedelic style than that for which Blue Öyster Cult became known. In the late '60s, the nucleus of the Long Island band that would become Blue Öyster Cult was playing under the name of Soft White Underbelly.

5 de abr. de 2017 · Not everyone may know that The Stalk Forrest Group was basically Blue Oyster Cult before they became B.O.C. All the original members of B.O.C. except for bass player Joe Bouchard are here. The band recorded an album for Elektra but it ended up never being released. In 2016 this album was finally release along with bonus demo tracks.
