Don Myrick. Music Department: Phil Collins: One More Night. Don Myrick was the legendary saxophonist of "The Phenix Horns", the former horn section of Earth, Wind and Fire. Before joining Earth, Wind and Fire, Myrick was a member of Chicago Band "The Pharaohs". He eventually joined the Phenix Horns in 1975 with close friend Louis "Lui-Lui" Satterfield.

Previously, Myrick had been a member of the musical group the Pharaohs. Myrick is also credited as a founding member of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians.
10 de may. de 2024 · Don Myrick passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 5, 2024, at age 79. Don was a Guidance Counselor for 33 years. He was a faithful member of Powell Presbyterian Church.

30 de jul. de 1993 · Myrick also performed on the Phil Collins hit "One More Night". Myrick was killed July 30, 1993, while police were serving a search warrant. Santa Monica Police said Officer Gary Barbaro fired one shot after mistaking a butane lighter in Myrick's hand for a weapon. ... or don't show this again—I am good at figuring things out.
