Graduate Exhibitions. As a capstone to an MFA Art degree, you’ll mount a solo thesis exhibition in the spring of your second year. Shows take place in the Graduate Gallery, a 2,000-square-foot space with professionally constructed moveable walls, a lighting grid, and a high-resolution video projector; located in the Los Angeles Arts District.

Design. In the Design area, you will pursue scholarly research through rigorous investigation, devoted study and cutting-edge innovation. The area recognizes design’s wide-ranging and ever growing importance to a number of fields of work and study, including the fine arts (theater, film, dance and others), business, advertising and marketing, communications, engineering, medicine and many more.
